What I loved working at #711
Nothing

Accident at #711
Loved my job but my boss was very verbally abusive as well as i seen him physically throw a nacho tray over the counter at one of our employees. Very racist and ignorant man. Threatened our jobs including mine so i walked off my job after 5 months. Worst work experience in 20 years doing what i do.

Favorite story @ #7Eleven
Bad...its like being in prison. Management is never happy. If i hear nothing...i take it as a compliment.

7-Eleven and the Exemption from laws
I work at a 7-Eleven, so what I will say is this. 7-Eleven employees do not get breaks, benefits, or the respect for the most fundamental labor laws. I was hired full-time, $10 bucks an hour. But the shift I work is always left with doing things which were suppose to have been done by the prior shift, and this is doing the work of two people yet only being paid for the work of one. They say It's a team, but this means everyone is doing their part. The 7-Eleven in Roosevelt N.Y. is poorly managed, the manager only shows up when the owner does. To effectively manage there should be a managerial presence on all three shifts, at least 2 1/2 hours per shift.

Im looking to move up in my field or switch carrer path entirely..
My Last position which I resigned from was a Cashier/Clerk at a 7-Eleven CStore. 30yrs/M/CurrentlyUnEmployed I'm searching for more pay with benefits in the same field or I'm just going to change fields.. I have great work ethic and stay professional and positive whenever neccessary! Fast Learner if trained properly and do my best to work well with others. ...
