Get use to this : any or all of the above described duties and / or as deemed necessary, up to and including, or as outlined, which may or may not include. In other words, it's a moving target and can and will change as the needs of the business change. But having a thick skin will be a good thing to develop. Cuz you'll have it coming at ya from different directions.

Empathy and leading by example, listen and most importantly know the mechanics of each position you manage, you can't hold team members accountable if you don't have a clear understanding of the position. Good luck.

It would all depend on what your job title is. But in my case as a retail associate I would make sure that everyone had their duties done for that evening and if they weren't to chip in and help your teammate to go for the day. Make make sure the store was clean and faced every night and any deposits due to the bank deposit them

It depends all companies have different duties for supervisor

Every company is different for supervisor positions. Depends on what career you decide as a supervisor.

It depends on the type of work and expectations of the supervisor. Most companies offer free training for key positions, so look into that, first thing. Then, just do you best during the training.

Supervisor is a leadership role and the first stage is to be a good worker who easily follow instructions. You can only succeed as a supervisor if you were at several time a good follower.

Paperwork and keep your crew working hard if they have time to lean they have time to clean!!!
It depends what company you are a supervisor for. A store supervisor responsibility is difrent than a warehouse Supervisor but one thing in common is that you will need to motivate your team, train and coach them to be successful. Always listen to what your team has to say at meetings and look into any suggestions they give because after all they are the ones doing the work day in and day out. Be humble and don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. Remember if your team fails its your failure and no one else but if succeed celebrate it with your team. Discipline in private and praise in public. Any training you need for the job comes easy if you have your team behind you all the way.
