hey I have a felony conviction and a deferred adjudication will that affect me trying to get a u.s. postal job

Depends. The Post Office makes a decision based on each individual's case. They will evaluate the crime, the amount of time that's passed and what has happened since you've gotten out. (Non violent crime, lots of time passed, clean living since... easier to pass the interview process.) Give it a try, have an explanation ready that describes what happened, what you've learned and how things are different now. (There are resources, if you need help with this.) Hey Terrance, I don't think you can work for the US post office if you have a felony conviction. I encourage you to look at other job opportunities that work with felons. Here's a good site to check out: http://jobsthathirefelons.org
