If you have any idea what you want to do in the future, seek a job in that area. You have to ask yourself, what do you like to do? If you don't like the job, you won't last long. Customer service can entail fast food, big box stores, department stores, garden centers, clothing stores, etc. Next, see about the job's perks- such as clothing store do you get a discount, can you move up from the position, is the job close to your home, transportation issues.

It depends on your age and definition of customer service. You can work at department stores or convenience stores and you would be serving customers, just as if you worked in the customer service department of any store, or over the phone. I hope this was helpful. Good luck.
