Chef @Crawford Comfort Foods

Tough skin, open mind, creativity, team value, willingness to work long hours & experiment, & read books. Learn what & how herbs accent foods like thyme settles the stomach or how dill works with fish. Knife skills, flipping pans, food safety, study ServSafe, & follow directions.

It depends really on what kind of restaurant you want to cook for but I would recommend at least knowing how to do basic cooking frying, boiling, steaming. Most places will hire with no experience but you put alot of extra work on coworkers if you don't know anything at all and not all are willing to teach.

so man all right first things first when entering a culinary job the first thing that you need to have is a smile you must always remember that the customer is always right and the practice food safety if you don’t have it it would be good to get the service safe certified you would always like to have a good attitude never show a bad one never bring that to work follow directions pay attention and most of the time They’ll be someone there they can help you or teach you because each kitchen that you go to will be different he’ll want things done different way presentation is also key if it doesn’t look good people don’t want it that should get you off to a good start man

Cook And Dietary Aide at Canterbury Nursing Facility

Well it's very tiring but if you love to cook you can just run right through it you have to know how to cook learn your residents and what they eat and what they like learn there diet good customer service skills and if you don't know something or forget something don't be afraid to ask for help that only if you work in a nursing home and follow rules and clean up behind yourself and help others as a team that's call teamwork
