What skills do I need to get hired as a Teacher?
You would need at least some training in education and a bachelor's degree. Preferably a bachelor's degree in education and a teaching internship. Some school districts will accept 15 to 18 hrs of teacher education courses along with a bachelor's degree from people who are switching careers to become teachers. Courses like classroom management, computers in education, etc.
For teacher's assistant you will need early childhood development 12 units for a teacher you must have your associate degree in early childhood development these skills you will obtain will be a learning process in which you will begin teaching and assisting a teacher

Patience! It is one thing to deal with the kiddos but the parents are double the trouble.
If you love children and can teach them then you are on your way. Caring, patience and a lot of love goes a long way. You also need to know that every child can not be taught the same way. Learn your children. Sometime a degrees will help but not all the the time. Experience is BEST. LEARN TO GET ALL YOU WILL FOR THE JOB.
To be a qualified teacher you must have a commanding knowledge of your subject area. Teach from your heart with compassion and honesty. Most important: teach with a sense of humor! Treat every student as if they are the most important person in your life because they are!

I have bachelor degree in education
Not only do u need a teaching degree, but u need to have a love and passion for life! Plus flexibility- to be able to work with whatever subject, student, emotions, and so on have walked in your classroom that day. It is your job to teach- find a way be creative, memorable and lasting.
