I liked the hours and having off the Christmas holidays and Summers .I enjoyed learning new things .I was blessed enought to be sent to Colorado for training to open a new food venue at the Universtity .I worked there 10 years and left because of the managment team .They only worry about the customers not the workers ..Understanding how hard the pandemic was on hiring they did not take into consideration on the employees that stuck with them ..somedays not getting lunch breaks or one person closing multi area .

Ira must be at a different location. I went there to be part of a team and serve the Baylor campus students and faculty. I cover the whole campus and buildings belonging to Baylor. I worked as 2nd shift Maintenance tech for 6 years and 2 years as Forman. All my calls were emergency service calls. It was one of the most satisfying jobs I've had in my almost 50 years of working. You go around getting people out of jambs . They were so greatful. Very impressive young people and some of the resident hall directors were so kind to me. The management, however, were bullies treating people differently depending on who they liked or not. They certainly didn't know how to treat people twice there age. They didn't know anything about the work. They had their bachelor's degree in some other discipline . Between the abuse from my manager and the director ( who I liken to King Joffrey, from Game of Thrones) I walked out. Very frustrating experience.

It was the management team that they had back when I was there...The manager's always made sure that you knew that they really were always there if you needed to talk or had problems. Plus they didn't care about you getting overtime back then...
