That depends on whether you work for a company owned restaurant or a franchisee. If a franchisee has multiple units there may be more opportunity for advancement. The corporation typically offers a lot of on going training i.e. BKU (Burger King University), and this training is exceptional. Career advancement in any company can be complicated since entry level employees may be subject to an immediate supervisor/manager that is not committed to your growth. A "good" overall attitude and job performance goes a long way in one's career development. Good luck in your pursuits.

Me personally, working at burger long gave me the experience of working with a different diverse of people. It helped me with customer service. It taught me time management, work ethic, and responsibility.
