How to deal boss visibly angry after 2 week notice given?

Just had the “transition planning” talk with my boss and she was visibly angry. Red face, shaky voice. Clearly trying to hold her composure. Obviously it underscores why I am leaving a toxic environment! She’s booked me solid for my last two weeks to try and squeeze everything out of me before I leave and I wish I had just quit without notice at this point. Any tips for navigating these last two weeks with an angry supervisor? Anyone have any experiences they can share?

Get done what you can but don’t stress about it. Act normal and if she gives you a hard time, that’s a reflection of her, not you. I would just brush it off. You’re outta there in 2 weeks and never have to deal with her again.

Get done what you can, turn down all meetings and get out. If it gets worse, call them out. Feel free to say "I am giving you the courtesy of two weeks. You are acting like you want me to leave early. Perhaps there is a balance we can find." If not, call in sick or just say you're done.

Now is your time to show how much of a pro and adult that you are. Notice I didn't say human; because no human wants to go through that amount of toxic BS until you're set free. It's crucial to leave a workplace as a professional and not being petty. Good luck and start that countdown clock to your new job.

Work your normal load. What's she gonna do fire you for not completing everything?

Just work on whatever she gives you. Take your time. If she gives you a hard time, just quit on the spot. “Ok today is going to be last day”. Then leave.

Go ahead and quit now. Save yourself unnecessary turmoil. Take these two weeks to rest and get yourself ready for your next assignment.

Don't let her lead you to leave earlier. That would test in a poor work review and negative record. You are giving proper notice. And do what you can with the time left. There us not much she can do if she overloads you your last to weeks and then you can't finish. Like someone else indicated, this would be poor planning on her part and reflect poorly on her. What she should be doing is lightening your load. Allow you to finish up what you have and allow you to work with others to transition your workload before you leave.

Been down that road, was told I was dead to them. So put a smile on your face do the job that they hired you to do and get it done. On your last day when you leave you can look back and say I did what was suppose to do. YOUR LOSS MY GAIN! Supervisors get mad when people move on because it adds more to their plate. So have no worries you are moving on to bigger and brighter things good luck at your new job!
