Depends on the location. The manager can hire you on the spot or call whenever they want. I have seen it both ways...call them back to inquire

I would call back early the next Monday after the interview. That's normally when store managers look at hiring needs or their district manager is telling them to hire. The manager may have initially passed you off as a no but pressure from their boss could make them change their mind if you call at the right time.
