Well I do know that most things in Connecticut that check background only check in Connecticut so if your felony is in another state and at that "state level" only then you MIGHT be OK. Maybe. Depends on if the felony is on your fingerprint record and your social security number.....like mine is.....

Commercial Driver

@David Lilly Hello and welcome to the Jobcase community. I recommend researching WOTC affiliated companies. Those companies get tax credits for hiring felons. I’m an ex felon and had to go through the sane thing you did. I recommend considering getting a Class A like I did as well. Don’t get stuck in warehouses. Commercial drivers can make in between 70k-130k annually. Get situated and when you’re ready I can explain the steps on how to obtain a CDL.

Good afternoon! I appreciate your enthusiasm and readiness to work. You may want to consider reaching out to local temp agencies like Manpower or Adecco, as they may have opportunities for warehouse work. Additionally, CareerOneStop and Indeed are great job search engines, including opportunities for felons. Lastly, Jobcase offers resources and a supportive community for job seekers, including those with a criminal record. I wish you the best of luck in your job search!

@David Lilly Have you ever thought about getting CDL and driving? I have been searching for creating content for felonies. A lot of examples felons get their CDL and even their criminal background they may work without problem.
