You need to listen, and follow thru till issue issue is resolved that is what gains trust and be empathetic to show you are hunan and care.

I’ve been working with the public for over 30 years. You either have the skills or you don’t. Im a people person and can talk your head off or not talk at all. You have to get the feel of the person when they drop in your headset. If they are mad and screaming, quickly diffuse that situation. Your job is to calm them down and help them with their issue. If you can’t and you get mad, customer service isn’t for you.

I would get more train on my product.

Experience you can’t beat experience
You will be trained once you are hired. But if you already have customer service experiences from previous jobs then it’s helpful.
