Well Customer Service first off means Assisting customers 90% of the time your dealing with a person either over the phone face to face, emails or sometimes even in a chat conversation. Usually pertains to something that they need more info on like a product, or a return, exchange, sometimes help on there online account. Some people are not computer savvy so they need assistance on how to navigate sometimes in the apps. But remember there's all different walks of Customer Service just be nice, courteous of others and treat people the way you would like to be treated on the other end..

You must feel comfortable talking to people of all walks of life. Always be courteous and polite. Be patient and do not take anything personal, because not everyone you interact with, will be as receptive as one would like. Be tactful, know your field and if customer is not happy offer to have a supervisor or manager address their concerns.

Customer service means assisting the customers, no matter what industry you are in. Customer service also extends to your co-workers, as well. Being professional, courteous, helpful, kind, respectful, answering the customer's questions to the best of your ability.
