What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?
For your career or just life in general. #advice #lifeadvice #career

Everybody makes mistakes, that's why pencils have erasers!!

My stepfather told me: "It's so easy to be good, but it takes an extra concerted effort to be bad!"

My grandpa told me once ("This road has many turns and , and Ys, but if you burn all your bridges you can never come back home").

Before I had any experience I was told to just say yes and tell the potential employer everything and anything they want to hear. Unless you are in the below average intelligence category, you can pretty much learn what to do when you get hired. If you fail and get fired, now you know more about the position and do your own research to be better at it. Try again until you get it right. A study that used qualified professionals and actors for job interviews showed the actors getting majority of the job offers. So I did and got into the work force not related to retail, food service or manual work. Of course there is limitation, you can't suddenly be a great athlete or a surgeon.
My advice, don't do drugs, kill the drama, do the work, finish the task, and do it better again and again. Then take on more accountabilities and start the cycle again.

For every negative thought , grab hold of it, observe it, then kick its tail with two positive ones and then do something nice for someone else.

be yourself be kind

The best advice I've ever gotten: "before you can understand a concept, you must remember it... To apply a concept you must first understand it."
