What is the company culture at Walmart like?

They are friendly reasonable and care about thier

Yes its fast paced but it has changed alot over the years and some not for the best if you get good leads its ok but as for stocking you have to stock a box per min and zone at the same time if not you will get coached and possibly let go and the pay isn't real good for all the physical movements you have to do.

You don't get 2 days off in a row. Why, I don't know. The pay is fair for what you do. Takes a long time to advance up the ladder. Management is meh...air of superiority and power hungry seem to be the norm. As a PhD in IT, I wanted a break from computing so I was hired on as an Asset Protection Specialist. After several months I got tired of getting kids and adults arrested for theft. I went back to IT and teaching as a professor at a local college. Just retired after 4.5 years.
