Actually knowing how to drive a commercial vehicle is a big positive. (Some companies will hire to train but rare). Not all companies have the same vehicles but with past experience in any commercial truck will make the transition much easier. Have all required documentations, certifications, and license up to date and available. Stay positive and safe!

Before applying to a Driver job, make sure you have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and any specific certifications or endorsements required for the role (such as a commercial driver's license). Familiarize yourself with the company's vehicle fleet and any special driving conditions you may encounter. Additionally, it's important to have good communication and customer service skills since interactions with clients or delivery recipients may be part of the job.
