Bachelor's degree in field, can get a sub teacher to start, what field of study?

It helps to have background in the subject you’d like to teach. I have a BA in English and taught English. I didn’t sub or student teach. I was hired based on the fact that I was highly qualified in the subject area. Education courses help and if you want a license, you will have to take them. You gain experience in the field.
