What skills do I need to get hired as a Customer Service Representative?

You have to be skilled and customer service for many years thank you

I grew up in a family that also had their own company and that fave me good skills.

Usually need 6 months experience in a call center or manufacturing customer service dept. must be a people person and willing to answer any questions or ask some in a higher position or an outside salesman if you have one. Treat them as you want to be treated. Do not give them to just another person. If there is an outside salesman for that territory I give the salesman name and cell phone number.

Be clear with answers. The simpler the better. Be honest. Depending on position cya, document everything. Even with a bad day, smile. Be helpful, go beyond.

You just have to be friendly, personable, willing to help customers. Also be a problem solver, team player, quick learner.

In my 10 plus years in Customer Service. I have made it my mantera ro make the customer feel thou they r the only person important r u at that moment of dialog. Always listen intently, validate what it is they complain or unhappy with, reassure them and update them with the process in which u fixed or communicated any problem they may have had. Remember it is up to you to keep the vocally tones of ur client low and not aggravate the encounter. Keep ur voice upbeat, and positive make eye Co tact. And smile and remember them when they return.

A calm demeanor, pleasant voice, empathy for the customer's problem, ability to research.

They usually require six months of prior experience working in the clerical field, however, if you have ever volunteered to help someone at a reputable organization, you can use that as experience as well.
maybe none. depends on the company. Being a cashier at Walmart counts as customer service and so does being a server at a restaurant.
