I was terminated from a job that I worked for 13 years. What is a better way to word terminated on the applications?

A job can not disclose why you parted ways unless you give them permission. All they can verify is that you worked their from end to start date and what you position was. Anything negative is considered blackballing. You can always say you left to take care of family member.
