What can I do at 72 with Arthritis? Maybe I am just dreaming. My husband just passed away. I cannot support myself.

Hi Linda - so sorry to hear about your husband. I saw this article and thought it might be helpful to share with you. Wishing you the best. https://www.greatseniorliving.com/articles/jobs-for-older-people

Hi Linda. Sorry to hear about your husband. While arthritis can be debilitating its awesome that you still desire to work. Contact your Department of Human Resources and ask them to direct you to the resources in the area for Seniors. If they cannot direct you to a place for employment, maybe you can qualify for assistance (i.e. food, utilities, etc.) and utilize your money for other things. Ask your Pastor and church family for assistance. Many communities have programs through Workforce Essentials. You can also check out AARP on the Internet if you are able to access it. If not, ask someone to assist you. People are living longer and therefore there are a number of places where you can be inserted. Don't forget if you have a friend in the same predicament or know of a trusting individual who needs a room, you can bring in income by taking in a boarder.Make sure loved ones help you with this and draw up a contract. It could prove to beneficial for you both.
