Making sure to pay perfect attention to the small details and being polite at all times wether it is on the phone or in person.

I would say paying close attention detail, accuracy and promptness.

The biggest challenge for an Admin Assistant is "Time management" making sure that reports, and scheduling are done in a timely manor.

Challenging in the beginning and after awhile I’d be looking for things to do.

I guess, I would go with Moriah Gugel answer. Basically, depends on how many people you work with or for. You have to pace yourself by that.

Being able to see your high priority tasks for the day at a glance in your emails as they come in. Once you can master that, and getting those high priority assignments done quickly and accurately, the smoother your day goes and the better your time is managed.
Making sure everyone's needs are met in a timely manner and prioritizing each task as to its importance. Seems like I'm always watching the clock! That's just part of the job.
