If you could give advice to your younger self, what would it be?

Hindsight is 20/20, but what have you learned?

Great question Mike! I'm an old man now and everything turned out alright, but if I could change anything I would've never got mixed up with drugs, I feel like they took 10 years of my life that I can't get back, that's my advice to everyone!

I would say have more fun. Do the things I wanted to do and not be afraid just because you think you'll fail.

I would tell her to trust that her interests and passions are there to guide her down the right path, so embrace them completely and dive right in! 💕 Also that there's no need to doubt mixed messages about whats right - trusting your own gut and wisdom can be the most important guidepost, no matter what the "norm" is!! Thank you for this thoughtful question!

I would tell myself to finish my degree right out of high school. Going back in my mid-30’s with a husband, a full time job, and a 3 year old was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. If you’re going, go when you’re young and have no attachments/less responsibilities. I preach this CONSTANTLY to my now 13-year old.

Looking back in time the advice I would have giving to myself is trust & believe in myself. It took me a long time to believe in myself to start my own company. After working hard for others who didn’t see the potential I offered. I decided it was time to start my own business and glad I did. Wish I did it sooner.

"Reality is for people who can't handle drugs" was the old battle cry. How about a chilling double feature for all you wild and crazy kids: Requiem for a Dream and Drugstore Cowboy, that's my take..
