What kind of training does Walmart offer their employees?

Yes it depends on the job you're applying for they give plenty of training

It would also depend on the position, yes there is a lot of computer training when you first hire in, then training on the floor by your direct manager or a associate that they may see fit to help train. Now if you are going for a team lead position then there is training at an academy store as well. You would goto that store for classes.

Former employee here- they mostly do online training, but further into the job they also train you on the floor with a manager

On going training and updates on your job titles tasks. Always new training and repeat training to keep it sharp in your head

On hands training

A lot of stuff is online

New hire positions have a 3 or 4 day training where you the learn the ins and the outs of the company and do cbls which are done on the computer some are general for walmart associates and some are specific to the job you get. Walmart stores and distribution centers are different with their hands on training the store you primarily work with other employees in your specified area and get your mentoring from your team lead. Distribution side your on hand training is with a trainer for 2 weeks and you are on I I think 10 week production slope where you start out at 20% and work your way up to 100% production. As you work with the company and learn new things extra training is provided. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

Not a lot of training. Sometimes someone trains you but alot of the time you are just thrown into the department.

None
Absolutely NONE! NADDA ! ! EITHER u catch on or u don't. Walmart goes through so very many ppl. Thy could care less. If u find anyone in your store that will help u. U are lucky. The only way to get training is by watching their training videos they have a lot of those that you can watch but that'd be that's the only way.
