I'll go with the money and hate the job. Then look for a new job, does that count?

Hmm.. we’ll, I’d like to say the second choice is the right one. But if I’m honest with myself the answer for me would depend on time and levels. I mean I could kinda hate something for a LOT of money for a short period of time so that I could have more freedom of life choices later . Not saying that’s the right choice - just saying that I think a lot of us can tolerate short term pain for long term gain . (But admittedly, that’s a slippery and dangerous path- so maybe I shoulda just stopped typing after saying the second choice is the right one lol)

Great Question! Money isn’t always the answer to all things. What good is making a lot of money and be Miserable? It effects you life in several ways. Recently, I was offered a position for more money. I turned it down because it wasn’t a good environment. The company isn’t willing to make changes. They continued on the same path. When taking to some of the employees, they were grumpy. Hated the job. I asked why do you stay? They all said it’s the $$$.

I have been in an industry that I did not like for 15 years; I would like to love my work. Money is not everything.
