You don't have to have formal training for most bht jobs. If you have past behavioral health or cna experience that's helpful. They will also consider experience with customer service as helpful. Sell yourself as able to work with all types of people even when emotions run high and you will do fine!

You can look for training programs at local community colleges, vocational schools, or online platforms like Udemy or Coursera. Additionally, Jobcase, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter can help connect you with job opportunities and training resources for behavioral health technician positions.
