Never operate any machine without proper training!

What type or types of machinery I will be working with also complete understanding of operations and safety of all equipment and machinery.

You need to know what type of machine it is, what type of PPE you will be required to wear and understand a general idea of what the job consists of. Once you’re on the job locate the BBS paperwork on the machine you will be operating. Do not sign the paperwork or touch the machine til you understand everything as far as functions, OSHA regulations for guards and such and what’s your job requirements are.

Make sure you wear all your ppe.safety to me is everything.

I was taught how to operate both palletizer and depalletizer and I learned Very quickly. I can learn machine operation with little trouble.

It honestly depends on the place. Some places train you others want you to know a good amount beforehand. Having basic knowledge of tools and how to use them is a good start. Basic math skills. It honestly depends on the place though, and kinds of machines you will be operating.
How to run the particular machine properly if you aren't sure about anything ask questions. You should know how to stay safe and you should know about the parts that you make in the machine how to make sure you are making good parts. It is costly to the company when you make bad parts so keep your eyes open and stay alert.
