
What's the key to success in a waitress job?

Being presentable. Polite. And knowing watching and observing your customer. So u can know what they need before they ask. Means that u want then to know that you know what your doing. Make sure customer feels right at home and important to you. They shouldnt have to ever ask twice for something or forgotten. If they feel that u took care of them did everything you could to make thier experience comfortable fun and made them feel like they were the only customers there. They will remember you. I had customers watch me grow up at my job being there for 27 years. Some have become family

Be ok with being in awkward situations, they aren't as weird as you think and its never as bad as you imagine. Also karens happen just not as often as you think

Excellent customer service, making sure you guest is always taken care of, interacting with all at the table, children included, just going above and beyond for the best guest experience

Making the customer feel at home smile keep checking on them

Know what your about … if u love being a waitress. Show it be it live it ! It’s not a bad choice . Love wat u do … that’s all

ALWAYS have a smile on your face, be your self, and making sure the customers see you more than once. You want to make sure the customers leave HAPPY and they will keep coming back. Being yourself and making sure that any all customers enjoy their experience with their server and enjoy their meal. Most importantly know your menu, know any information you need to know about the restaurant your serving for and last the customer is ALWAYS RIGHT.

Prompt and accurate service, grooming, knowledgeable about your menu and personal connection. I’ll always go the extra mile to see mom and dad enjoy themselves. “Let the kids make a mess, enjoy yourselves” As a server that’s what I’m here to do “SERVE”. Even if the cook kills the food we make the experience.
Be YOU... People will respect you more. Just NEVER being your outside problems in. Smile keep your head up treat your customers like you would want to be treated interact with them gradually check on them to see if they need anything.Just be YOU.
