Hi Gloria: They definitely are! Being an unlicensed insurance agent is super limiting, since you're legally not allowed to talk about insurance coverage to clients. If you get licensed, you have more freedom on your job, plus the pay's better. I'd definitely look into it!

If you choose to work independently it will take time to build up a client base but the money is good in the long run.
