Don’t give up. Keep applying. Call HR and ask question at least once a week. That makes you look so invested to work for them. They have different job positions everyday. Make sure you apply for as many as you can. You can always move jobs later. I worked in Mossville Mapleton foundry, Mossville until closed, then East Peoria on black iron line, then moved to GA during the layoffs to keep working and was working with excavators and small dozers. I made it 19 years with them until I rolled my ankle from too many parts in area and not on racks. October 2023 was my last month and I had to sign letter that I wouldn’t work for cat or any affiliate. But I loved my jobs and felt like home!!! Wish I could return. JR

If Caterpillar does not have any open positions for you at the moment, consider expanding your job search across multiple platforms like Jobcase, Indeed, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn. You can also proactively reach out to their recruitment team to express your interest and inquire about upcoming opportunities. Additionally, stay updated on Caterpillar's career page for new job postings that align with your skills and experience. Keep networking and building relationships in your industry to increase your chances of finding a suitable position.
