Is being bored at work worse than being stressed?
I'm not trying to complain, but I've been at my new job for two months and I'm bored to tears. I get all of my tasks done in under 2 hours, then I'm searching for things to do the rest of the day.
While this may sound ideal for some, I want to be challenged. I don't want to be an account assistant forever, I want to run client accounts. Should I be looking for a new job after such a short time at this new company?

Being bored is better than hating your worklife

And you're doing the right thing by creating your own work. Just find the right time and place to present what you've accomplished by self-starting.

You have the right mentality, keep pushing your boss and others at the company for more projects and tasks.

Take care of yourself and your job responsibilities and do what you are successful with doing.

The management of your time is is important to you as you work its up to you how you set your time on how you going to work during your work schedule.

Super duper question. Yes it is. Boring jobs are the worst. I feel like I am going to kill my self at boring job. I left couple job because of that. At one Job I was playing games all day long as I did not have anything to do and the office manage was telling me how busy they are... Yeah BS> It was boring ... Leave it or start doing something for school to get to better job.

Commas and decimals is not my bread and butter. Are you trying to out shine others in the office? Stick around the workload doesn't burn you out....

I dont make that much money what is a good job that earns really good money

I would ask for a different role that's more challenging or find something else to do that is fulfilling. I say that because when I get bored at work, I get complacent and that's not good for the business.
Ask for more work and clear goals
