Where can I get training to qualify for a Cdl Driver job?

In addition to what Daniel Lilly has said - some truck driving schools in some places (such as the one I went to in Tulsa, Oklahoma {Arbuckle Truck Driving School}) have special scholarships that can cover some or all of the tuition fee. Also some trucking companies (such as the one I started with as a rookie driver {Melton Truck Lines}) offer to pay off any debt you have from truck driving school.

Good Will has a program that might be able to help you at an affordable price!!!

There are a few beginner companies that offer training two week training CRST . CRST is a two week training program The only downside is you have to sign a contract that you will work for them for a year unless things have changed since I’ve been there

You can also check out school bus driving, they also pay for the CDL. Depends on what state, your local Employment Office has programs (STEP) that might be able to, your local colleges might have scholarships for the CDL classes as well as the trucking industry

What state
There’s a few different things you can do to get a CDL. 1. Many of the big trucking companies (swift, cr England, knight, Warner, etc) will pay for your CDL training as long as you stay a year afterwards. 2. Find a truck driving school and pay the tuition which is usually $3-$5k. 3. If you know anyone who has a commercial vehicle that would let you use it to practice and take your skills test in.
Those are the options I know of to get a CDL. Depending on the CDL you are looking to get class B or A.
