How will working a Rn job help me grow a career?
I want an ER or ICU job,I worked at it for 25 years.Need a new one. #healthcare

One must be content with the job he/she does to grow and improve at the profession they persue. What are your goals? What do you desire the most from this job apart from the pay cheque. Give yourself new goals. Use the skills you have to accomplish them, listen and try to learn from constructive criticism. Then step back, take a look at where you started and how far you have come.

One has to know if you want to help people or not. You can have anything as a career but to be in the health care industry, you have to have compassion. If you are not a compassionate person, being a nurse may not be for you.

Try acute dialysis. Been in it for 12 year's after doing imcu and med surg for years. Love it and will never go back to being a floor nurse

RN is a noble profession. I grew and continue to grow by loving what I am doing

I have no RN experience. Sorry.
You can start out by getting a position in a hospital on med/surg unit and work your way from there to gain the experience in a hospital setting.
