What experience do I need to be hired as a Machine Operator?

Iam a cup moluding machine operater and chemical production machine operater

least 2 years experience.

No experience required but like all jobs, if you have experience operating and maintaining machinery it’s gonna be a plus and ultimately a win win for you and the employer. Also I believe knowledge in electronics, basic or advance, will help you

Warehouse experience and working with production machines

You need to have operated a machine the produce parts of some kind. For example: If you know how to sew, then you have experience operating a sewing machine and are a machine operator.

Hi Joe I been a Machine Operator most of my life. You can be trained on most Machine's as long as you pay attention to your trainer. Most of just be careful and don't be afraid to ask questions. Joe best of luck my friend and God bless

I think it depends on the type of machines! I have been a machine operator and most of the time had no experience or very little! They trained me! I never ran anything too heavy though!
Most companies prefer experienced operators based on what there looking for and what particular type of machines they have. As long as it's an entry level position they will train you. If your mechanically inclined it always gets you in quicker. I operate a Plasma Cutter and a couple of Laser machines. I had no experience at either. If you become an operator and do your own maintenance on the machines...... That's how you get paid.
