Customer service supervisor- addresses heavy volumes of inbound and outbound calls and emails. I had large accounts and there was one who did not get her order. She was a client in Japan who was an owner of several retail stores in the West coast. She did not receive a large shipment because one of my employees shipped to her address in Japan instead of the correct shipping address in Los Angeles. We almost lost her as a client. I did a thorough investigation as to where the products were in Japan at a customs location. I figured it out and got acquainted with a customs officer and was able to manage a payment from our company to Japan to get the packages rushed to Los Angeles. Since he did that for us I shipped him and his family each a free pair of moccasins (we sold moccasins and cowboy boots). This incident happened again to a different client in Japan and customs called me and they shipped the packages to the correct shipping address. A little good humor and being personable can go a long way.
