What does it take to become a Forklift operator?
Most of the certifications are BS because you do them online and never actually drive a forklift. Any good company will have you do specific tasks while they watch until you pass their visual test. Turning in tight places,pulling pallets off of the top shelf in the warehouse and putting it back, things like that and check it out for damage and maintenance before running.
It is an easy job but you have to be certified every 3 years the video and class and the test is pretty easy but safety is number one
It's a pretty easy job to do it takes a lot of safety and common sense. The test and video does not take a lot time. Most employers will want you to get certified with there company and carry their certification card. Safety is important forklifts can be dangerous. Good luck hope this helps you.
