I just talked with Phil, the Wilmington branch manager at Waltham Services. He is looking to hire somebody for a north shore (Lynn etc) focused route. You do not need experience with pest control and they will train you to take the state exam. Pay sounded pretty good and he reminded me that it's a recession-proof business that can't be offshored. I have some interesting job experience working political campaigns in my youth that I would like to include on my resume. Is there anyway to add the experience to a resume without sounding political? I don't know the politics of those that will be reading my resume, and I would not want to alienate a potential employer. My job search will be in the public sector, or in the private sector focusing on social responsibility. Thank you all in advance.
