I'm looking for a good paying job but I don't know how to find one. I don't have a diploma or a GED so it makes it harder and I don't have a CDL and I'm only 19

How to sell makeup in the Far East

I have advertised my makeup business in Social Media and there is a lot of interest from the Far East. How do I economically go after this market and get them to purchase my product?

The power of "no"

Having a good strategy and being disciplined about following it is NOT about saying yes to the good choices and no to the bad. When you are a startup, you have tons of choices, lots of room to pivot, and lots of things you can spend precious resources on. The key is to learn to say "no" to really good things, choices that almost kill you that you are saying 'no' to them - but you need to do so to keep focus and resources not the 1 or 2 things that you DO say yes to. Its easy to say no to bad choices. What is tough is saying no to good choices. But if you are to succeed in managing or leading a start-up, learning to say No to good things is just what you must learn to do.

shhhhh... secret sauce of Startups is..

unending supplies of caffeine! Rarely have I been in a new company's offices that I don't see some combination of coffee, mountain dew, diet coke, red bull, 5 hour energy, etc.....

Co Founder Ceo at Jobcase Inc

so many, here are a few that I think are pretty good and relate to skills/journey of a startup:

  • The hard hard things by Ben Horowitz (great insight into what its like to run one)
  • Venture Deals by Brad Feld and Jason Mendelson (explain VC term sheets if that is relevant)
  • Who moved my cheese? by Spencer Johnson (better get ready to pivot, this is good for that)
  • Crossing the chasm by Geoffrey Moore (great insight to think about your market)
  • the Innovators Dilemma and the Lean Startup are good reads too (Christensen and Ries respectively)
