I am application with target about 2 weeks ago but heard nothing back. What should I do?

Hi Danielle, You seem very passionate about getting the job at Target. This may be the perfect career place for you. I suugest go in speak with a manager during an administrative time of the day. Express to him or her that you are passionate about serving customers and you can do it with loyalty to their company and with a spirit of excellence. Tell them you just need the opportunity to prove it. Let them know you would be an asset to that particular location. Give them something to wander about that makes them interested in seeing you prove yourself.

I’m really interested in a job at Target. I already tried filling out an application but the problem is that I don’t have any previous work experience. I have worked in several volunteer roles for both local and national organizations but I’m not sure how to add these job experiences on my resume. I tried attaching a doc I prepared listing all of my volunteer experience but there isn’t an area on the online application where I can include that document along with my resume. Can I complete a paper application at the store? Do you think I can still get a job with only volunteer experience? I really want to show them that I’m serious about getting this job.

There’s a Target distribution center nearby that I want to work for but they're not hiring right now. If I decide to send the manager a letter of interest would it be okay to address it “To whom it may concern” if I don’t have the manager’s full name or is that too informal for this kind of letter?
