Hello I live in NYC and I have been looking for a full time job as a Counselor or Caseworker for a while now. I am even looking for part time work for the holidays. I have two children and won't be able to give them Christmas if I don't find something soon. Any help is appreciated. Ive had a rough few years looking forward to getting my life back.
I'm trying to keep my spirits up. Have been unemployed for 5 months without an income. My UI benefits were eaten up when I was on temporary disability. So, my Father's been paying my rent and utilities for this whole time, unbelievably because my overhead is not cheap. But says this is the last month. After this I get a one way ticket back to NY. So, my dream jobs are put to the side and I'm looking for anything. Have an interview tomorrow with Rite Aid as a Wellness Ambassador - so let's hope the luck has turned!
I’ve had some awesome reviews in the past that I want to add to my job searching tools. Is there a common process to request this info from previous employers?
Years ago, when I first left HR to go to the other side and help job seekers, I worked with a young man with an incredible fear of interviews. Here is his story...
I am seeking a position in Healthcare Administration ($100k-130). I have experience and both my MHA and BSBA, which are both recent. I live in the San Francisco Bay area. I am transitioning back into the healthcare field after a career in a completely different industry. However, all of my experience is in management.
