case management human services.
I graduated with a Masters degree in human services 2018 from Purdue University global. I have little experience in the field of human services and after many job applications I have received no offers. Any advice or recommendations would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Experienced Human Service Worker
I have over 10 years of experience working for local and state government. Relocating to Wilmington, NC and cannot seem to get a job offer. I have only had ONE county call me for an interview, I have applied to four counties and these are positions I am over-qualified for. I have not designated a pay range that is over what is being offered, and I am willing to start on the front line even though I am a supervisor-level employee. I felt that if the one county that I interviewed with was willing to offer my an interview from out of state, they would be willing to offer a position. I have applied for at least seven positions in their Economic Services division and have been looked over for five of them (I have all qualifications they are asking and the interview went well). Are companies really that scared to hire someone who was willing to show up at the interview, but still has not relocated yet?

NEED LEGIT HOME JOB 32HRS WEEK HELP
I can commit to working from home 3pm to 8 or 9pm 4 days a week. 24.hours is all I need. I'm fast at data entry, editing, proofing and such. How can I find a legit home based job to supplement my income. Could add 4 more hours on Friday s few on weekend probably 32hours a week. Does that sound Good? I heard I can do medical transcription being paid by the document. Is that true? I'm so in if is. Do I have to prove medical training? Should be data entry only. I could do 6 docs a day. Would that be worth something and like how much? ALL ADVISE IS VERY WELCOME THANK YOU, MY PEEPS

Recent BSW Grad
Hi, In search of employment within the social work field. I am a recent BSW graduate and can use some help getting pointed into the right direction.

looking for a job in a few months.
I'm a college student and looking for a job I can start this summer and continue on into the school year. I'm just not sure where to start looking because I still have a few months. I'm going to get my masters in Occupational Therapy and would love something that's in that type of environment. Someone told me to look into social services for options. Some helpful advice would be appreciated.

Social Servie Professional NOT STNA.
I'm sick of companies wanting to hire me then toward the end of interview, they want to know if I can lift 100lb and do personal care if STNA calls off. I wont agree to personal care task or lifting because If I could do these task I would apply for them. So many Nursing home and home health agencies are confused about the role of Social Services. Sick of seeing this and most do it because Social service is usually salary so they save money by not filling hours with STNA/hourly staff. This is so wrong I'm not getting hired do to job description outside my field of study.

Starting Over
I live in the Detroit Metro area. I have my Bachelors degree in Social Work and have worked with a wide array of populations. I have been trying to find a job for several months here in Michigan. I had to leave my last position after I was in an accident on my way to work and ended up with a head injury, basically I was on medical leave for awhile and couldn't get my state licensing exam completed by the deadline needed to remain employed within the agency. I have skills and feel like I am wasting them doing absolutely nothing. Maybe I should leave Michigan and completely start over.

Program Specialist to Director Level Postions
Hello All,
I have been in case management for a year and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to take the skills that I have with this position that would be a catalyst for me to become a Director (non profit or for profit)? Before I worked in non-profit my career was in Electronics and Marketing fieldwork where I utilized my Communications degree from Undergrad and now have a Graduate degree. My focus is to double my salary within the next year and a half if not sooner to become more stable and I really feel like I can elevate to that level. I am thinking about Grants Manager but I do not have any grant writing education. Any ideas, tips and direction would be helpful.
Thank You,
