At a pharmacy in West Toledo, medical assistants are the only ones who actually see the patient - the doctor uses a video screen to examine them! New technology allows the doctor to listen to a live stethoscope, and examine vitals using virtual tools. Would you consider working at a place that did this?

Im a registered medical assistant, and I have been on the search for a job for about 3 weeks and I've had one interview. I guess I just wish someone would give me a chance, I'm an extremely hard worker and tremendously reliable to all of my past employers.

What do you think are important qualities to have in order to be a great medical assistant?

I have almost 4 years experience working in internal medicine private practice, however that office closed, I was able to have another job lined up however 4 months into the job has a family emergency. Was authorized a few days time off and then forced to resign. Now I'm starting from square one. Any availabilities or recommendations are welcome.
