I was going through some difficult time and needed money fast so I saw on TikTok door dash Was a pretty good way to make some income until I find a job. I worked for 2 weeks, the first week I was paid and one night trying to get dinner for my daughter I realize my account was overdraft because they had reverse my payment I called and spoke to someone who explained it’s a system issue and it would be fix. I trusted their word and continue to work because I still needed funds for me and my daughter the following week they took another weeks pay. At this point I’m just frustrated no one is helping me I have called them a number of times and was told to just wait, my bank can’t do anything and I have been with them for over 16yrs . Even writing this makes me want to just cry because I can’t afford this and gas is ridiculous and I spent my own money for gas and for them to not pay me is Not fair. Does anyone have any advice?
System issue @Island Bowl , yeah I've heard of similar issues with other job apps but never anything that was not able to be fixed within 24-48 hours tops.
2 weeks into this issue I think you should start by filing a claim with the US Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division. This might now be a quick fix but it's going to give you a claim number you can use to leverage any conversations you might have with the companies payroll department, if needed.
There's no location information on your profile so I'm unable to give you a direct state referral. Look for a state and/or city department of labor office and find out if you can file a claim with them as well. This one might actually help expedite a solution to this serious issue.
Finally, call the corporate office and talk to a HR Manager directly. This is the typical process state and government agencies prefer these matters get handled. Besides you might connect with a corporate head that understands the value of "bad press" and decide to cut you a check in order to avoid any further inquires.

I have made excellent money. I worked it early morning and afternoon. Monday & Friday are good times to be around early and clubs are good for night
Uber is an excellent way to make money daily. It allows you to earn money and deposit your earnings directly into your bank account each day or wait to receive payments on your chosen payday. Not to mention, there are bonus incentives per ride and promotions for completing a certain amount of rides that can really increase the amount of money you make.

I believe that you can set your goals higher than a hotel driver job. Walmart is paying over one hundred thousand dollars a year. Nobody can find drivers. Never sell your self short just get the license needed for the job.
