My first day
Being new to Uber, my most memorable moments would have to be my first day. I turned the app on it immediately went off. The noise was so loud it scared me. I accepted the ride, took a deep breath and ran to the car. I was nervous and excited. Once I arrived to my pick up location it was a relief to know my rider used uber often. I immediately felt a relief. She shared great stories with me as I did with her. We laughed most of the 30 minute ride. The rest is history. I'm enjoying meeting so many new people. I love what I do and I do believe my first ride played a major role in that. #MyDrives

Fun driving Uighur uber

New Experience, Helping Other's
My experience with Uber has been a enlighten experience ,meeting strange new people's greeting them with my beautiful smile and a safe a comfortable ride has been changeling to me.The experience has given me opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and view things in a different expect in my life as I ride families, people's to they job's oor where ever they may be going .Just the small talk's, laughter and a smiley makes a person's day a good day at that moment and that is the joy I get out driving for Uber the smiley I put on the rider's face when they rides with me. #MyDrives

Pastor.
I picked a rider from the airport, a business man. Engaged me in the discussion about how long have been an Uber driver and if it's been rewarding ,to which I replied in the affirmative. He attributed the migration of workers from restaurants and convenient stores to the "Uber revolution"... I would call it. On this fateful ride, I got to know the genius concept by the brains behind the founding of Uber. The success and its impact on the restaurant/food industry is remarkable as expressed by this businessman. He actually expressed fears as to what the situation would be next year if the trend continues.. Thumbs Up for the brains behind Uber. A memorable ride with great revelation indeed. Most memorable drive
My most memorable drive thus far is when I picked up two ladies from downtown Greeley. They got in the car and they were immediately pleasant and friendly. These two ladies had been friends for 20 years and just recently reunited. They asked to stop by their vehicle first to pick up some stuff, and I obliged. They were laughing and reminiscing the entire time. They included me in there entire conversation in which we spoke about college and husbands and life. It fet like I had known these ladies all my life. It was so nice to see and meet positive people. I proceeded to bring them to there residence about 15 mins out. This ride made me thankful and motivated to continue driving. I'm thankful for the opportunity to be driving with uber and meet a variety of different people in our society. #MyDrives

Most memorable moment
I would say was my first time driving I picked up a few marines at the bar who was completely wasted. They couldn't remember their unit and I had to find their barracks and where to drop them off without any help from them. #MyDrives

Best two guys ever
I pulled up and two guys I was picking up seemed like they were going to be fun from the get go. We started towards where I was taking them. I asked if they had a preference to what we listened to and gave them my phone to choose. One of the guys mentioned they frestyled for fun and asked if I would like to hear. The rest of the ride was so awesomely entertaining I really didn't want to drop them off and wish I could have had them been the entertainment for my other riders that night. I love meeting a diversity of people. This job is very nice. I enjoy every minute of it #MyDrives

Michelle Derousseau
I was driving Uber in Green Bay for the Wisconsin vs LSU game and I picked a group of six 20-something guys celebrating a bachelor party. I was driving them all to their hotel about 35 minutes away. They were a bit tipsey but all in a good/fun mood. The guy in the passenger seat next to me kept asking me if my minivan had Bluetooth (it doesn't) and all the guys were giving him a hard time. They certainly kept me entertained with that and all the silly questions they were asking me. #MyDrives

You are only as old as you feel
I had this lovely couple one morning. I went to the pick up location and out came two lovely older folks. They were carrying luggage so I quickly hopped out of the car to grab their luggage and open their doors for them. The older gentleman told me that was his job so he in turn opens my car door. I smiled and thanked him. I started the trip and noticed they were headed to the airport, so I had to ask where they were headed. The two of them were headed out to complete their bucket list. Super excited and interested I asked what kind of things were on their bucket list. The two went on and on with riding hot air balloons, sky diving, biking through trails, polar jumping in Antarctica! I was amazed- these two must have been in their 70s or 80s. I told them I envied their courage and they shared with me that they have been together for over 57 years- they worked their whole lives being careful and cautious. They are true soul mates and best friends and wanted to be outrageous while they still could. I told them about my husband and how we have been friends for 15 years and reconnected and timing was just right- and I was lucky enough to marry my best friend. The woman started to tear up and put her hand on my shoulder and told me to treasure every moment because you just don't know how many moments you have. I have never wanted one of my trips to never end, but this time I did. I wanted to chat longer but we pulled up to their destination. As I grabbed their luggage out of the car the older woman gave me a warm hug and I shook the older gentlemans hand. I wished them fun on their trip. I couldn't help but smile- all the way home- I walked into my house to see my lovely family and I just hugged them so close. I couldn't help remembering the tears in the woman's eyes and thinking something must be going on - but they had each other and now is the time to make memories with your loved ones. I took the rest of the day off to spend with my family. My husband, my daughter, and I went to the beach to enjoy the sun and the sand , but mostly each other and making our lifetime of memories. #MyDrives
