FINALLY!!! I have full time employment!
I just want to offer encouragement to those out there who are still struggling through the trials of finding gainful employment. It has taken determination, tenacity, and the refusal to give in to defeat, but in the end it will be worth it. For the last year I have faithfully submitted. countless resumes through a number of employment sights. I, at times, know that I easily submitted at least 100 resumes in a weeks time. I had mabe 20 actual interviews during this time. I admit that in the beginning, whenever I received that dreaded e mail; "We would like to thank you for your interest in our company, BUT...", I would feel devastated. Eventually , I adopted the attitude of, " You don't and probrably won't ever know that you just passed over what would have been the best thing that could have happened for your place of buisness." I am convinced that this was the turning point for me. That air of confidence began to show itself in each of the next interviews. Now , here I am, a gainfully employed, 58 year young lady looking forward to the future!

I want any work

Congratulations, hard work pay off in time. I am on the same road.

Woohoo!!!

You are awesome and Congrats... God Bless

I am so Happy for you, because people don't understand how hard it is to have to make resume's and have to wait for employer's to call back and then they don't because you might not be young enough. But what they fail to realize is that we are from the old school and we aren't just going to lay down and give up. So once again Congrats you deserve it

Another thing to do, if possible, is to stay in touch with the person that interviewed you. Let them know that if they have a position that opens up that you are a fit for, that you will be interested in interviewing. This has paid off for me.

Thanks for your encouraging words! God bless!

Great and good luck, Tami

Congratulations,Tami! Thanks for encouraging note of persistence! Good luck/God bless.
Your "Faith" prevailed!
