Got the job but taking awhile for them to call
I finally got a call from a good job and went to an interview. They were happy and want me to work and they even told me when they were gonna call me but yet nothing. Do I cling on to them still or start looking around again??
Devin dear, keep looking for more jobs At least you can have options If one job doesnt call you, then at least you still have other options If they call you then there you go. By the way, good luck
No job is a certainty until you get the offer in writing. Keep your options open!
How long ago was that? If it's been weeks, start looking for another job. First call the company back and ask them when you are suppose to start working and if you get nothing in response, start looking for another job. I've heard employees doing this more and more. That's very unprofessional.

Glad to hear that things went well. Give them 1 week from the interview date and if they have not called give them a follow up call, that you have not heard back from them as they had mentioned in your last visit. In the meantime, I would not quit sending out resumes.

Trust me I have the same problem, they had me doing drug substance abuse test and background over three weeks, As an HR person, I know that it is just unethical to go as for as doing a drugs and drug abuse test with a negative result and no return of call.
