High school diploma
Recently,I applied for a job.In which,I am pretty sure I got.Pending a security clearance.Which I will pass.I had one done on other job.Anyway...They wanted a copy of my High School diploma.To become employed.I graduated 39 yrs ago.And I don't have a copy.Thank God my sister had a copy.Has anyone run across this??I have worked for 39+ years.I never had this problem.

Very surprised they want a copy considering you are not a recent graduate......

Yes. My old school burned down and i can't get mine.

It's not an uncommon thing Anthony DeMarco - usually it's just part of a verification process set up by the company. If you can't find your diploma in the future, just contact the school and they will be able to provide you with one. Let us know when you get the job! Good luck!

Anthony DeMarco Anyone who needs a copy of a diploma or transcript can contact the school they attended. In your case, verification of your graduation is probably part of your background check and security clearance. It's often done.
Anthony, Employers are doing this more and more. I had to provide a copy of my high school diploma when I applied as an office clerk for the OSBI. In fact, I still did not get the job and kept all my paperwork anyway. TYJ
