I am a single mother and need a job. My ex just left me and walked out on us. Should I work at McDonald's? I heard you can get a job really quickly and they are nice over there. Anyone work there before? Are the hours good? Just need to provide for my baby. Thanks for the help. I feel lost.

If you have a Chick-fil-a near by, they pay well. The local Chik-fil-a in Columbia, Missouri, pays $12/hr to start. Local McDonald's only pays $8/hr.

Have you tried putting an application in at your local School Transportation District. Get your CDL and drive school buses at least your off on all Holidays with your kids and they can ride with u to work and ride the bus to the Bus barn after school and wait till you get off...
I've been in the same situation before. Honestly I would take what ever I can get until something better comes along.
