Let me put this out there.
I made a mistake on the register and undercharged a customer by $150 bucks. The customer was a major scam artist but I have enough experience and should have caught on if I was more focused. I just have a lot of negative stuff happening in my life right now with my son, parents, and money problems of course. I was picking up more hours at work but I let myself get too burned out. Now the managers have me stuck pushing carts and picking up trash in the parking lot as punishment. Exactly what my ego needs right now! I am so fed up, I wish I could disappear. Sorry for venting but I’m in need of a little hope. Thanks
No one cares about your personal situation. Find the short changer and short change them into eternity. If you are pushing carts and picking up trash,be the best cart pushing trash picker there ever was.
Some time things just happen to good pleole and it stinks but always remember God loves you so much and god wants you to lean on him all the time not only when things are no going the way we want them but also when everything is going well . go to god in prayer . IF GOD IS FOR YOU WHO CAN BE AGAINST YOU ..
learn from it and move on....chin up !!! Don't sweat the little things, focus on the big picture!
Things happen that's why when you want to register you have to take your time and watch everything you do trust me

Quick change artists are con men & women who for them, THAT is their career. I've been in retail for over 20 years and it's happened to me, too. Don't doubt yourself. As someone who also has over 10 years of management, I would NEVER punish someone for falling for a quick change artist. You clearly see where you lost control of the situation, and I'm sure next time you will be all the wiser and will know to stop and regain control of the transaction. Don't allow yourself to burn out... Nobody wins that way. Good luck to you and stay strong!
That happened to at one of my first jobs in a bank. A customer started making change at my window and duped me out of 20 dollars. Its not much but it's still a bad feeling. Hector, Rome wasn't conquered in a day. I know it feels like your drowning in problems but you can't work or worry yourself into the ground. We're always going to have issues to deal with in life but its important have a reasonable amount of peace as we work through them. Cut back on the OT and use the time outside to get some exercise and relax. Hopefully its getting warm where you are. Remember,it's only temporary.
