I was bumped out of my position as an assistant to operator 1 week after I had topped out in pay. I lost 1.50 an hour and will be on probationary status at the new position while profit sharing bonuses come in June, which means I will not get that bonus. The company says you get a vacation, but you have to file for unemployment to get your vacation pay... How does the government, or state of Alabama allow that? They say it is vacation pay, but unemployment has to pay because Maples says you are laid off for your vacation. It is downright fraud , and I am giving my 2 week notice this very next Monday morning...
