Importance of controlling your Attitude

“Attitude” is such an important topic and I just wanted to see what other people think about this. In my opinion, having a good attitude in the workplace is SO IMPORTANT! Even if you are having a really bad day, staying positive and calm can go such a long way in how your office/co-workers view you.

You always hear that “attitude” is something you can control but what do you think?

Attitude is important, but it needs to be a professional attitude. Be positive, be supportive, but ask questions, point out potential concerns in a constructive way. Treating people with dignity and respect, as you want to be treated is always important, but always joking, or laughing, or injecting yourself in conversations can be looked at as annoying. Having a "yes" attitude when approached is always one of the most important attributes. People need to look at you as a friendly person that can get things done.
